Jason, Me, and Wes on the "choo-choo"I have been very slack, I am going to update my blog so Miriam can see all the craziness that is going on. Wesley and I just returned home Sunday night from a two week long vacation. It was wonderful and we had so much fun, it's difficult to get back to regular everyday life. We were able to spend a week, along with Jason, in Denver to visit with family. We had such a great time! Wesley played hard and got a kick out of feeding his breakfast, lunch, and dinner to the dogs. Wesley had his first real dose of what it is going to be like with lots of girls cousins, he participated in his first tea party with Ella and Kate. He was quite the heavy drinker, Ella barely had time to fill her own cup with Wes constantly asking for more "waher". Wesley, Ella, and Kate are already great friends...I love it! We had the best time shopping, eating, swimming, and just hanging around laughing.
After spending a week in Denver Jason went home to return to work, while Wes and I continued on our journey to spend a week with my sister in Utah. The week really flew by trying to keep 4 kids fed, happy, rested, and safe. Thank goodness there were no major accidents, we did come very close when Wesley decided to "slide" down the climbing wall at the playground. What a crazy kid! We were both worn out at the end of each day but it was worth it! My sister has three beautiful children and even though Ammon and Wes enjoyed taunting each other there were lots of laughs and good times. Poor Lizzie is so good we forgot she was there many times, she smiles and just goes with the flow. It was our first time meeting Lizzie and I'll have to say she's perfect.
